Leading a Heart-Centered Life
“My humanity is bound up in yours, for we can only be human together.”
—Desmond Tutu
“Decide what is sacred to you, and put your best life energies at its service. Make that the focus of your studies, your work, the test for your pleasures and your relationships.”
—Starhawk, author of The Spiral Dance
This month’s blog post is a video talk I gave at Heartland UU on the topic of leading a heart-centered life. Since early March (with news of people losing loved ones during the pandemic), I have frequently found myself feeling sad, overwhelmed, and out of balance. Globally, many of us are likely feeling the stress and sadness of this past year.
Finding ways to re-center and connect with our hearts during stressful times is crucial, reminding us to breathe. Reminding us to ask, “How can I help?” And reminding us to give thanks for the sun shining brightly in the sky, each new day.
Be well friends.
In love & gratitude,

Thank you, Diana! As COVID increases in our nursing homes, this was a refreshing oasis. Just what I needed!
Hello Richard,
Certainly not easy for anyone right now during COVID-19, but I’m glad the talk helped.
Thank you so much for the work you do in this world!
Be well.

Thank you Diana. I always enjoy your writing and posts. The video comes at a much need time.
Thanks Becky. Finding our collective balance right now isn’t easy. A few moments to breathe and recenter does help though, especially during challenging times.
Take care. ?
Peace,
